  1. I recently read The Night Circus and it's brilliant! Would definitely recommend it! The Secret Garden is another great book on this list! I read Elixir by Hilary Duff but I haven't got round to reading her other books yet!

I love this challenge! I always have a pile of books waiting for me :) My favorite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez, but I would also love to get through Infinite Jest...eventually. ~Ree

  5. I am so excited! I just got an e-reader copy from a library around here! :) I am really really loving the Secret Garden. It's so sweet so far. I loved Elixir. I felt like Devoted (the second one... I think) was a little less impressive... but still good. I want to wrap it up with the third book. :) Thanks for stopping by! XO -Alexandra

  7. Thank you Nadine! It was one I pinned a long time ago... and I am totally on a Witchy kick these days. :) hehe Yes, I loved her first book it is a fun YA fantasy/romance. It has a travel element which I dig. The second one was not quite as good, but I still liked it. Excited to finish up the series. I am so excited for Saint Anything. I am #15 holding for 4 copies at my library... so we'll see. I did get on the e-reader list too. And I am 2nd. So maybe! :) XO -Alexandra

  8. It's super fun, I'm excited to try my first one! :) Me too! I have shelves of books that I just have not gotten to yet... so I tried to throw a handful of those on this list. :) That's awesome, sometimes it can be so hard to get to those big ones on the lists! XO -Alexandra

  11. The Kitchen House ripped out my heart, but it was such a great book.

I'm not really a re-reader of books. The Secret Garden is the one book that I've read multiple times.

  15. The Giver Series is awesome! Although, I'll admit, I liked them progressively less as I continued on. The Giver is definitely the best one. The Witch's Daughter sounds really interesting!

  18. Whew. Goodness. I'll have to be prepared for that one then! The Secret Garden is super sweet so far. I am almost done. And it gives me a new love for the movie that I watched but didn't particularly like as a kid. XO-Alexandra

  19. I have too, and I have read less and less since I graduated. And even then, most of those books were not school-assigned. Last year I read a pathetic 3 books. :( So, this challenge is really giving me some incentive. Plus a few super long flights coming up... should be good for my list! I will have to look into it! Thanks, XO

  26. She did! :) The first one I really really liked, the second one a little less. I am actually re-thinking this pick in the sense that I would probably need to re-read the first two before reading this one. I would recommend Elixir though. :) XO

  28. Me too. I finally bought it in February.... but obviously haven't gotten very far yet... :) haha Yes, I would recommend Elixir. It's a light YA fantasy/romance kind of book. I think I need to re-read them before reading this one on my list now that I am thinking about it. :) XO

  29. I liked Elixir a lot! I would definitely check it out for a YA fantasy romance type book. :) I just started Night Circus last night, and only have it for 2 days on my e-reader through the library.... so I am kind of tearing through it. I'm really hooked because I have no idea what is going on right now... haha :) XO
