This cardigan was my biggest splurge in the last few years, and I am still so pleased with it! It is beautiful and goes with so many things. :)
If you've been following this blog for a while, you've probably seen a lot of this sweater... and perhaps most of these pictures.... :) - the lack of sunlight is making it ridiculously difficult to take new fashion photos!
Hoping to find more favorite sweaters soon.
What's been your biggest splurge purchase? - was it worth it?

I am SO glad you joined us this week! You made hot pink skinnies look "Christmasy"! Who even knew that was possible? I love the second look with the pattern mixing. That sweater is just lovely :)
ReplyDeleteHehe it helps to have pictures in advance.... I am really hoping that in the new year my schedule will be what it's supposed to be, allowing time for blog pics during the sunlit hours... :) Thank you. I love these jeans, I love this sweater. I like that it isn't too crazy to wear them together! XO -Alexandra
ReplyDeleteThank you! I love it too. It was a good investment. ;) I love them too, but it's hard to find ones that flatter my curves... that's part of why I end up with ones like this that are made of thinner material. :) XO
ReplyDeleteAww you look so lovely! Isn't it the best when you splurge on something and then actually wear it so much you get your money's worth?! Those are the best splurges. I think my biggest splurge this year was a few dresses from TopShop - which I've gotten quite a bit of use from so I'd like to think it was worth it! :)

That is such a gorgeous piece! For having an intricate pattern, it really does seem versatile.
ReplyDeleteLove it- especially with the skirt, it's so cute. My biggest splurge is my fringe less moccasins from free people, but they are amazing- best thing I ever bought! Merry Christmas eve!

I love that sweater! It's great with the pink pants and I also love the pattern mix of the floral with the polka dots! Sometimes it's totally worth a splurge when you know you'll love it and wear it a lot. By the way I saw your #ohkansas hashtag...I live in KS too! Where in KS are you? I love finding other bloggers that are nearby!!
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome! Thanks for stopping by. I certainly love it when I get a lot of use out of any piece of clothing.... but it's definitely good when it is something you may have spent a little too much on... :) XO -Alexandra
ReplyDeleteThank you Kira. I absolutely love to wear it! I was surprised by how versatile it is too! Thanks for stopping by! XO -Alexandra
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think the combo is pretty fun too. :) Oh, that would be a good splurge indeed! Merry Christmas Eve to you too! :) XO
ReplyDeleteThank you Shea! I am just so in love with it... :) It does work so well for pattern mixing... also because nothing else will ever be the same as its pattern.. ! Yes, I totally agree. But I just adore thrift shopping... so it's always hard for me to pull the trigger on things much more than $25 . . . haha! That's awesome! I know only a few other KS bloggers... they are both actually KCMO though I think... so not really! We live in Lawrence, where do you live? -so fun! Merry Christmas Eve! XO
ReplyDeletethat's a very cute sweater! LOVE those hot pink skinny jeans too! Those definitely look like something I'd rock to work! :) Sounds like Georgia has similar weather to KS... yay, 60 degrees on Christmas eve! hahaha
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas Eve to you too! I'm in Shawnee--not too far from Lawrence! Most of the KC bloggers I know are on the MO side too, so it's nice to meet another Kansan :)
ReplyDeleteWow you are too cute! I love this outfit. And I adore your decorations!! That is some cute flair. ^_^ Merry Christmas to you!

How awesome! Thanks for reaching out about it. Excited to follow along with your blog. :) XO
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! I love it sooo much! :) It can be quite warm here... but in general I think it's much colder. It has been both 50 degrees and 25 degrees this week. Normally it is pretty snowy and at least super freezing by this time. The thing about KS.. .we have the most bipolar weather... I'm actually wishing for snow! :) haha
ReplyDeleteThank you Jenny, you're so sweet. Thank you, I love the gallery wall. It turned out just the way I wanted it. I need to put up a full pic/diy sort of deal... someday. :) Thanks for stopping by! Merry Christmas to you too. XO - Alexandra
ReplyDeleteI love the two different ways you styled your sweater! I also really love the gallery wall in the background–so eclectic and awesome! :)
ReplyDeletesuper cute sweater and i just love that skirt!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jana! I can't get enough of the sweater, and I also can't get enough of this gallery wall. I love it more daily! XO
ReplyDeleteThanks Kristen! Me too! Love the heart polka dot print. Though usually not the biggest fan of hearts on my clothes. :) XO
ReplyDeleteThat is such a fun vintage-y sweater, and you can style it so many different ways!
ReplyDeletewhoops just saw this! :) Thanks so much Britt! I find it to be very wearable! :) XO
