Roaring, Swinging, Fabulous, Groovy Blog Collaboration // 1990's

Woohoo! It's linkup day! :) Today we're talking about the 1990's! The best decade! I loooove being a 90's baby! Make sure to hop on over and check out Audrey's blog too! :)

On the first Tuesday of the month, February through November, we're highlighting books & films from/about specific eras that we recommend! (Television shows, too, sometimes!) There's no commitment or link-up during those months on your end, but in December we’ll host a recap/link-up for the entire year!

Someday, Someday Maybe by Lauren Graham - funny story about an actress trying to make it big in the 90s.
Bridget Jones's Diary by Helen Fielding - pure genius!
Attachments by Rainbow Rowell - currently reading. Internet security guy reads emails of coworkers and falls in love with one of the email writers.

Pretty Woman - a classic. Though obviously not a childhood favorite. ;)
Empire Records - overdue for a re-watch.
Never Been Kissed - I'm not Josie Grosie anymore. An all-time fave.
Romeo + Juliet - forever and ever and ever. Remember my love letter to Baz Luhrmann?

Seinfeld - on on repeat in my house growing up.
Boy Meets World - UNDAPANTS!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer - *head bangs to theme song*
Full House - a staple. Does anyone watch Fuller House...? Cuz I do...
Dawson's Creek - *grabs hair in angst* Pacey & Joey 4 Eva.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch - All I wanted to be when I grew up. I have all the DVDs. Go ahead, judge me!

The Flood Girls by Richard Fifield (book) - thanks Dani for the recommendation!
Friends (TV) - yes I have seen some/a lot, but not all. Someday! :)

Be sure to hope over to Audrey’s blog and check out her recommendations!

Next month is our last month of recommendations! (HOW are we at the end already?!) We are diving head first into the first decade of the 2000s. The threat of global warming loomed larger, the War on Terror was born, and the world became obsessed with superhero films. Join us for a blast from the most recent decade.

Have you seen any of these?!

Alright... send me your best 90's recs! What am I missing?!??!?

XO,

Alexandra
