101 in 1,001 days

Have you seen these lists floating around?

I (obviously... ) love setting goals. I love it because it helps me keep track of my achievements and dreams, but also because it pushes me to try new things. You've probably noticed plenty of yearly and seasonal goal lists on here, but what I haven't posted about before are long-term goals. This is probably because I want to do SO many things that my long term lists are constantly changing.... but when I saw Sarah's post about her 101 in 1,001 (here), I thought that it seemed like the perfect first long-term goal challenge! The list lasts for almost three years and is made up of items divided into categories. I love this idea because it's long term but not too overwhelming! (it's hard to know where you want to be 10 years from now!).

I will add links to posts about the things I complete as I go. :) - so click on those for details.

I officially started this list on the 20th of August 2014, so on the 16th of May 2017, almost 3 years later, I will reach the end, and tally my list! :)

  1. Love this! I've started making mini monthly goal lists, and I love it!

  2. That's awesome Lauren! :) I would love to know how it goes for you! :) Goal setting is so fun. XO

  3. Wow that's incredible, I can't imagine setting goals over a 3 year course. My goals have to be maximum a year or it feels too far away for me! I set myself a load of goals at the beginning of this year and have been working my way through them since. :) X

  4. That's awesome Laila! I've been better about keeping up on my yearly and seasonal goals recently and thought that I was ready to try some longer term ones! We'll see how it goes! :) Thanks for stopping by! XO

  5. LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Can't wait to see all of the adventures that take place here!

  6. Thank you!! Thanks for the inspiration! I'm excited to hear about yours too! :) XO

  7. This is an amazing list! I love setting goals too, although sometimes as time goes on I realise that some goals aren't viable or that they're not important to me anymore and I feel bad for not reaching them. I love how much travel, adventure and holiday fun you're planning. Good luck! xx

  8. Thanks Jess! I thought it could be a fun challenge. :) It is hard to keep track, and hard when your goals change. But I guess that is part of the point in making goals is to figure out what you want! :) I always find that I achieve more and do more fun things in a year/season etc. when I make a list :) XO-Alexandra
